GUN STORES

s-l1200.jpg

INFORMATION

The history of the century was written from the smoke of a gun - or at least, that is what the poets would say. Whether for hunting, protection, criminal activity, or even novelty and display, guns and other weaponry are a near-necessity for anyone looking to make a life for themselves on the frontiers of Lavinia State. Gun Stores keep up with this supply and demand, serving the masses in the creation, distribution, and personalization of weapons, be they for the lawman, the civilian, or the outlaw.

BLACKWATER GUNSMITH | CLOSED

Founded in 1832, the Blackwater Gunsmith is a staple of this growing city. Very few people know the full history of the place - once owned by a hermit of a man, it sat undisturbed for nearly sixty years. Never changing, always the same quality, until in 1884 the elderly fellow passed - his business moving on to newer, younger hands.

As simple as its history, the gunsmith shop is nothing to look at. Sturdy but unassuming, with a front display and a private back room for undisturbed work and storage of pieces. With just one story to spare, the space has all it needs and nothing more.

ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES

Players who own and operate the Rhodes Gunsmith are not required to abide by any firm guidelines or rules - the location may be operated and maintained to the satisfaction of the owning gunsmith.

KUO CHAO GUNSMITH | CLOSED

Many refuse to acknowledge that the largest and most prominent gunstore in the state rests in the heart of the Saint Denis "Chinatown" quarter. Well-kept and well-stocked, the Kuo Chao company was founded by a young Chinese-American couple at the turn of the century, and has flourished ever since. Though its original owners have passed, the location respects its history, and continues to serve the populous of Saint Denis.

This spacious gunstore has not one but two counters - one for purchases and one for custom orders. A separated, private area for work, and more exquisite hunting trophies than one can overlook. While the place does not come with its own housing, it is nestled in alongside many other buildings in the area.

ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES

Players who own and operate Kuo Chao Gunsmith are required to abide by a few firm rules in line with its general lore and history. In respect to the location and history of the business, we will only accept characters of Asian descent to own and operate the shop - while anyone can be hired on by the owner, the shop cannot be owned by anyone else.

RHODES GUNSMITH | CLOSED

The quaint, dusty gunshop in Rhodes is considered nothing if not a master in its craft - a well-known spot that trades out outward appearances for quality firearms and ammunition. Built sometime in the 1810s, this old place has traded through the hands of many skilled Gunsmiths, and still stands strong today.

The building is modest, with a nice forge and workstation, displays, and an accessible basement for storage and housing of either the primary gunsmith or their apprentices. Though perhaps not the largest of all shops, the place certainly has its charms and appeal.

ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES

Players who own and operate the Rhodes Gunsmith are not required to abide by any firm guidelines or rules - the location may be operated and maintained to the satisfaction of the owning gunsmith.

VALENTINE GUNSMITH | CLOSED

In 1862, R.L. Dalton founded a small gunsmith shop in Valentine, as a means to provide for his growing family. The place was styled primarily to appeal to local ranchers and huntsmen - stocking and customizing shotguns and rifles aplenty. But after falling on hard times and being resold early in the 1870s, the place has taken on new life, servicing anyone who might pass through its walls.

The building is a small one, a large single room for all of its necessities - the upper story serves as low-income housing for the people of the town, with two apartments atop the noisy shop.

ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES

Players who own and operate the Valentine Gunsmith are not required to abide by any firm guidelines or rules - the location may be operated and maintained to the satisfaction of the owning gunsmith.
