Though we consider ourselves a strict roleplay server, two things come before all else; respect and community. Here at Lavinia State Roleplay, we place respect for history and the people who suffered at its hands over pure accuracy. We seek above all else to tell stories of heroism while showing the full respect the men and women of American history deserve. From the indigenous tribes who lost their land to the men and woman who suffered under the bondage of slavery, we are dedicated to telling stories that show the realities of these people's struggles, without infantilizing or boxing them in. Similarly, our community prides itself on offering spaces for players of all identities and characters of all identities, from the neurotypical to neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+ players and beyond. The horrors of the 1800s are real, but prejudice is not tolerated under any circumstance beyond the field of roleplay and writing.
